About Geoff B.
Geoff B graduated from Stanford University (class of 1985) and worked in journalism for several years until about 1992, when he took up his second career in telecommunications sales. He has held many callings in the Church, but his favorite calling is father and husband. Geoff is active in martial arts and loves hiking and skiing. Geoff has five children and lives in Colorado.
I miss him – temporarily. He, like His Master and mine, inspires me to work smarter and more to serve the lonely, the hurt, the hungry, the widow, and the orphan.
My father, my grandparents, one of my grandchildren, and my baby sister (among others) get to meet a giant of a hero today. They may have to wait in the spirit version of a long line.
I’ll grant artistic license to portray the recently departed as they were not long before their departure. But I must take exception to the use of a cane in the spirit world. 😉
I personally think the group of loved ones with whom Tommy Monson is now reunited numbers in the many thousands. But that wouldn’t be an easy scene to depict. I agree with Bookslinger that Tommy Monson and his loved ones if seen now would be in the prime of life, rather than in whichever stage of mortal development we might best remember them.
