I was having an email conversation with Emily Jensen of Mormontimes.com and she asked me if I thought the Bloggernacle was a good representation of Mormon people and thought. I said it was and added, “The Bloggernacle often resembles a chaotic Sunday School class.”
First of all, there is NO correlation when it comes to blogging. I’m sure if President Lee were still alive, he would find a way for the Church to correlate blogging activities. 🙂
Second, the Bloggernacle has quite the collection of class clowns and other trouble makers.
Third, this post over at Mormon Mentality. Of course, would you really have this discussion in Sunday School? Wait, don’t answer that!! (And please pass me wet wipe!!)
Fourth, there is always someone who brings their children to class! (Gotta love Julie’s kids!!)
What are some other good examples of how the Bloggernacle resembles a chaotic Sunday School class? I’m dying to hear!!
All I know is that somebody who sneezes and drops his eyeglasses in a urinal definitely needs to consider emergency lasik surgery.
Actually, I think the Bloggernacle is more like a chaotic stake fireside than a sunday school class.
I want to be in your Sunday School class, Brian.
Though I’m very glad the Bloggernacle doesn’t resemble the chaotic Sunday School hour I always have: eight 7-and-8-year-olds in a roughly 50-square-foot room. The best part about the Bloggernacle is… I’m not in charge. ^_^
