It seems pretty clear that the theme of this conference, based on Elder Uchtdorf’s talk, is service. Especially appropriate now.
It also seems that enduring trials well is also another theme. Great first talks!
I hope everybody heard Elder Burton’s talk. Self-reliance, voluntary action to help the poor. Not forced charity.
I knew brazilians who made that one week journey from Manaus to sao Paulo to go to the temple. Incredible story.
What a powerful session of conference!
I definitely want to see the Rome temple now.
Puts my little contributions to the Jordan River Temple as a youth in perspective. Sacrifice has always been associated with temples! Sacrifice: trading one thing of value for something of greater value!
Well, think the youth of today who go to seminary at 6:30 am and church everyy Sunday and do temple baptisms are making some great and worthwhile sacrifices.
Very touching talk by Elder Scott.
I want to be better than I am now.
Loved Elder Holland’s talk as well. It’s so true that every conference has messages for me and others and I’m always impressed at the next fast and testimony meeting to hear the messages that reached others that were not the same as the messages I was particulary touched by.

I feel sad. I didn’t want it to be over!
What a wonderful weekend!
