Great photo. While some of Heston’s movies are my favorites, it’s more because of the stories and cinamotagraphy. He’s a true graduate from the over-acting school, much like William Shatner.
“Get your hands off me, you d— dirty ape!”
I love Charlton Heston–and I love his over acting. But underneath his “over-the-top” performance was a deep consistent energy–in all of his portrayals. He was incredibly magnetic.
What a great photo!
He will be missed.

I thought this was a good tribute to Heston:

“Good bye, Mr. Heston, you were one of the best ever.”
One of the best ever at what?
