The Republican candidate is heavily courting Mormons, who, although they are mostly Republicans, nevertheless include many Democrats. Cynthia Lummis, the Republican candidate is a member of a conservative branch of the Lutherans but once took the discussions and went to Institute. She has been endorsed by Mitt, and many of her campaign volunteers are LDS. Worth a read.
